'/silicone-oils' : 'Silicone Oils are liquid polymerized siloxanes containing organic side chains. They generally have high thermal stability and great lubricating properties. The polymer backbone of silicones is (Si-O-Si-O-Si-O….) with groups attached to the tetravalent silicon including but not limited to methyl, amine, phenyl or other alkane groups as an example. Silicones like simethicone are very low to anti-foaming and can be used in many applications where removing foam is necessary to keep a reaction at bay like during fermentation. Cyclosiloxanes are also desired for certain applications like in cosmetics where glide and film forming might be essential just as silicones like dimethicone are used with different viscosities in cosmetic chemistry for hair, skin and lip products to name a few.'

Stearic Acid is used in many personal care and cosmetic products. It is used as an ingredient that acts as a surfactant and as a softening agent. The structure of Stearic Acid allows it to help improve the appearance (texture and consistency) of products. It can help with making personal care and cosmetic products solid and improve the ability of them to mix with water, which usually is not easy because oil and water do not combine well. Stearic Acid is natural and is derived from animal fat and specific plants that contain fats and oils.
