About Suncoast Products LLC

Suncoast Products LLC was started in 2019 by John Carson to provide specialized services in

personal care product formulation and development and to promote the use and sales of the

Cosmetic Emulsion Bases (CEB’s) that were developed at the request of several people who saw

a need for a simple way to make safe, stable cosmetic emulsions. There are three CEB’s –

Nonionic, Cationic and Anionic – unfortunately, only the CEB-N is available now – the other two

are still in development – their development has been delayed because of scheduling and

Covid-19 issues. The bases will make formulating creams and lotions a lot easier. For example,

about 5% of CEB-N and oil and water is all that you need to make a lotion and about 10% will

give you a cream. You can use any oil that you want from mineral and silicone oils to organic

vegetable oils and any amount from about 5% to about 25%.

Suncoast Products was originally structured as a “typical” cosmetic ingredients sales company,

but we have become a web-based organization with “partnering” agreements with various

companies to supply other cosmetic raw materials because we wanted to supply quality

ingredients to make creams and lotions with our CEB’s.

Suncoast has made (and will be making and hosting more) on-line, short, “web talks” detailing

various aspects of personal care product development, such as: emulsion formulation, product

stability, ingredients, product testing and, most important, videos describing how to make

cosmetic emulsions using the CEB’s. We believe that education is important and that learning

never stops – which is why we make these videos and why we highlight the DYI kits. Not only

are they a good gift, they also provide an easy way to learn about emulsions and you end up

with your own unique lotion that you can use to soothe your hands, face and body.
